Ondrej Hamul’ák
Ondrej Hamul’ák serves as a senior researcher and lecturer in the EU law at Faculty of Law, Palacký University Olomouc (Czech Republic) and Adjunct professor in strategic EU legal affairs at Taltech Law School (Estonia).
His priority domain of interest is EU constitutional law and Digital Constitutionalism. Hamul’ák has participated and currently implements 10+ research projects at national and international scale. He is the author or co-author of 100+ scholarly works with over 600 citations (over 180 in Scopus). His google scholar H-index is 13, Scopus H-index is 7.
He considers himself as a European law geek with a particular passion for EU constitutional law and digital constitutionalism, always trying to act as a proactive researcher. he always tries to enthuse aspiring students, young scholars but also older colleagues and motivate them to explore and develop their research potential. The example is the creation (in 2020) of international research group focusing on Digital Sovereignty of the European Union – which consist of senior and junior scholars and Ph.D. students from 6 European countries. As the frontrunner and mentor of this group, Ondrej Hamul’ák is motivating his team to focus on cutting-edge topics, present the outcomes at international level and develop the projects for systemic approach to the topic.
