Zeynep Ayata

Dr Zeynep Ayata holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford, an LLB from Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and an LLM from College of Europe (Bruges) and a PhD in private law from the University of Ankara.

Her research interests are European Union law; European and Turkish competition law; law and economics; law, technology, innovation, and digitalisation. She worked as assistant professor at Koç University and has been a visiting scholar at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, at the British Institute of Comparative and International Law and a visiting researcher at the Cambridge University Centre for Law, Medicine and Life Sciences.

She conducted a Jean Monnet Chair Action funded by the EU Commission and a research project funded by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye.
